Osetra, our different menus
offer spontaneity for the Chef and culinary adventure
for the diner.
All
dishes can be ordered as small plates - tapas-sized
plates perfect for a taste for two or as larger, meal-sized
dishes that satisfy any appetitie or craving.
Many
factors influence the creation of the menus; the seasons,
the availability of a sought-after ingredient at market,
the arrival of a lobster boat at the pier at the foot
of Washington Street.
Sometimes its a whim of Chef Nevins, a curiosity about
a new idea or passion for a interesting, tasty technique
that spurs the creation and addition of dishes. Some
highlight Chef's inventive nature and change from
day to day while others are successes that go on to
become Chef's Classics.
What's here today, may not be here tomorrow - but
it probably will return upon menu rotation, with the
day's catch or perhaps to reflect what's fresh and
in-season.
